After 35 years, my parents are selling the home I grew up in. It’s a wonderful house with a really peaceful backyard and nice neighbors on all sides. It’s been a blessing to our family and we hope it can be a blessing to you or someone you know.
There have been lots of memories, family events, prayers said, thousands of family meals, desserts and countless Christmas cookies made in the kitchen. It’s where I learned to ride a bike, throw a baseball, kick a soccer ball, shoot a basketball, play ping pong, tennis, swim, and was home base for many miles run training for track and cross country. It’s where I studied the Bible and my faith in Jesus grew. Much music was made within these walls practicing French Horn, piano, guitar, and bass guitar. I also developed a strong work ethic by cutting the grass and working in the yard. My brother Jonathan and I grew from boys to men here.
My parents prayed for a good home to raise their family in and this was a wonderful blessing for many years. It’s sad to say goodbye to it but I hope it will be as much of a blessing to the next family as it was to ours.
