Snow Poetry

snow on ground

Whistling wind blows through the air
Snowflakes sailing here and there
Gently floating, floating down
Settling on the southern ground

Mountain Top Experience

I stand upon this mountain top looking all around
for on this mountain top your presence I have found.
Oh God of wonders you’ve brought me to this place where I can see
majesty and glory Lord you reveal to me.
I feel as though I’m soaring Lord flying high and free
encouraged, thank you for this time I’m energized with thee.

Forever I would like to stay and make this place my home
but I know it’s not possible forever to postpone.
So when you lead me from this place wherever I may go
let me Lord shine a light for all to see and know.
I cannot must not keep your truth only to myself
I must tell others of your love so they may share your wealth.

The Father's Love

Deeper than the deepest depth
True as true can be
Faithful is the Father's love
love for you and me

From ages past and evermore
the words in red tell of
Nothing on earth will e'er compare
this matchless changeless love

Poem: Your Love

Red Roses

I've searched the world and never found a love as pure as yours
in beautiful and darkened places, peacetime and in war

From towering cathedrals to distant galaxies
your love is vast and infinite for all eternity

Constant, never changing it doesn't ebb and flow
your love is unconditional in every high and low

In times of good in times of bad in all that I go through
no matter what the circumstance your love is always true

Your love is always true

Closer

Closer Lord to You is where I want to stay
Lead me back to You when I drift away

Keep me by Your side teaching me Your way
Soaking in Your Word help me to obey

In Your presence God drawing near to pray
Let my heart be Yours each and every day

Tribes

Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us by Seth Godin

Rather than a traditional book review, I thought it'd be fun to write a poem about the book instead.

Tribes of people everywhere
you can lead them if you dare
What's your cause, idea, or product?
Speak about, tweet, or blog it
You don't need authority
they will follow if you lead

Some may call you heretic
but status quo don't always fit
Never fear when others doubt
breaking molds can bring about
change that's good and change that's new
Won't you lead us? We need you

Poetry: Rain

Pitter patter on the ground
Rain drops falling, falling down
Skies above bring life below
watering the earth to grow
